The babies are actually born without quills. The thick hairs that eventually grow into quills grow very quickly after birth (in some cases mere hours depending on the hedgehog species).
Got this tattoo on 17/05/2012. It’s a quote from Eddard Stark, the character from Game of Thrones. I fell in love with the quote because it helps me reminding that it doesn’t matter how much I like to be alone, by myself, it is always important to keep in touch with people - it’s part of life’s survival guide.
